Texas comes to Cali!

After a death defying drive down the one (apparently the Pacific Coast Hwy gets a little scary around Big Sur), Kim and Nate arrived last Friday night. We laughed, harvested grapes (well Jeff did and the Strohs supervised), went to the beach, and even sampled a little wine. Josie might have a little crush on the trash man. Here are just a few picts from the weekend. It was such a sweet time that when they left on Tuesday ....I was a little sad. I have been so blessed with sweet friendships here on the central coast but there is nothing like a friend who has walked in life with you. So fun to see our answers to many prayers in real life...our husbands. Weird but they are very similar.

Ladies of leisure. Monday morning we headed to the beach. Had breakfast at Avila then went to Pismo to check out the shops.
