Goodbye to Gunner
As you all know, I love Jeeps, and I especially love my jeep. Why? Well its mine and I have had alot of fun in it. One of my most favorite memories, its Camp Jeep. Where in the little town of Clayton, Ok...we Jeepers enjoyed offroading for Jesus. =)Fun how God can use any passion for His glory. I have also had sad times with Gunner. ....like the death of my sister, Kim. Gunner and I drove...went to sonic, went to the lake, worshipped.....and were quiet with just the wind noise....longing to hear a whisper. sigh. It does make my heart a little sad...like its the end of an era......but then again ...I do feel a freedom in answered prayer.
This is a season of work and of being economical and well Gunner doesn't fit that..especially with Gas at 3.09 in Cali. So Gunner has a new owner, Doug, who will give gunner big tires and a lift kit. Not to mention play with him offroad. That makes me happy. As i watched Doug and Gunner drive off.....I was a little sad but peaceful. (I didn't even cry...but maybe its bc I have already morned that Gunner was for sale. ..I had already cried.) That very night, Jeff and I went and got me a wonderful Honda Accord. With great milage and money left over for me to put towards my credit card bill. There is definately freedom in that!!!!!!!!
sigh..I guess really am going to be an "old married woman".....=) ha ha...since I got the 4-door sedan, great gas milage, power windows..and no convertible. Just kidding. duh..I still look hot. =)..I just don't have the "cool car" factor anymore.
Bottom line: Jeff and I feel good about being faithful with not only our tithe but also our cars. God gives us a mind to help us out of trouble....and for us...I love that we are working towards being debt free. That means freedom to "Go" when god says Go! Thank you Jesus for selling my Jeep and for handing us a great car in its place. You have answered our prayers and we give you praise.

I LOVE YOU> and we are getting married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to predict that once you go Honda, you'll never go back. Remember how dependable the one I had when we lived together was....I only finally gave it up when it hit 190,000 miles...and there really wasn't anything wrong with it - I just wanted to change.
