Texas Tears

Today I had a southern girl moment, I cried when the DMV asked me to hand over my Texas plates. As they handed me a screwdriver and my new californina plates, saddness began to creep in......so I went outside and removed my really cute plates for boring Cali plates. Tears ran the whole time. I'm sure I looked like a freak. I just kept thinking, in Texas, a cowboy would help me do this. . . I miss southern hospitality. I miss Texas.

You're missing Texas...and I'm missing Dallas. What a trip. I guess that it is all relative. People here in San Antonio are certainly friendly...but they are not my people - you know. Yeah, Dallas has quite the snobby rep, but it was my city. I keep thinking of you, eagerly awaiting blog posts, and know that the decisions we've both been led to make are the right decisions for us. I'm sending Texas love your way.

Miss Mel-
I miss Texas all the time. Atleast you're in a cooler state than Missouri. Geez. And the changing of the plates...def. a way sad day. You're on my mind a lot...I'm glad I can come here for updates on what's going on with you.
Much Texas Love, Jen Bell
